ANOTHER ANIME CONVENTION 2009

So, this convention exists, and is happening this weekend. We’ll be there doing INTERVIEWS and SOMETHING in the artists alley.

Goodbye Connecticon!

Connecticon has come to an end, and I think we can all agree that it was a great time. Our photo gallery will be up soon for you all to enjoy. And thanks to our ace reporter Phil, we have some very special interviews with some of the comic and webcomic guests from the convention, so keep on the lookout for those in the near future.

Connecticon!

Connection is this weekend and I could not be more excited! We’re going to party hard. As always keep an eye out for us, and stop by all of the Nerdfit.com events too because those guys are awesome.

Otakon photos are up!

Otakon was great. Lots of photos were taken, and balloons were blown up! Congratulations to those who got the Penguin and the Dog Tags. I’ll have more at Connecticon.

Otakon Press Access

We have just officially been granted press access for Otakon 2009 this July. Get ready Otakon, we’re coming!

 My Anime Boston photos are FINALLY ready, but due to “Technical Difficulites” there are only 27 pictures this year. I am however excited to announce will again be at Otakon, Connecticon and Another Anime Convention this year. I also have a SPECIAL BOUNS GALLERY that will be up later today!

In all honesty, AB has been lacking in the fun department. Friday came and went, we only took about 20 pictures. Con is a snoozefest. Room (hot window) parties is(are) where it’s at. We’re going to see if we can do better for Saturday. I WANT to have fun at this convention, I really do. So I’m going to con as hard as I can, and maybe I’ll be able to keep myself awake past midnight.

Anime Boston starts this Friday

We will be in attendance at Anime Boston all weekend. Be on the lookout for our infamous cards, and maybe some new surprises. We will be taking pictures, and video for a special project, so keep checking back for that too. Also, if anyone hears about any hot window parties, let us know!

Lady GaGa & Kelly Clarkson Grammy Party Photos

I had the privilege of going to see Lady GaGa and Kelly Clarkson (with host Blake Lewis) at a special “private” grammy party at the House Of Blues in Boston, MA. I was in the front, but I was too busy enjoying the show to see that my camera was on the wrong setting. I’ve got over 100 pictures, but they’re not all great.

The show was amazing. I went for Kelly Clarkson, but I came out a HUGE GaGa fan and I can not stop listening to her. I wish she would have done a song WITH Kelly, but it was amazing regardless.

Anime Boston Update

 

FleaTheMagician.com has been DENIED a press badge for Anime Boston. We will still be covering it, but it MAY be our last year unless something awesome happens to make us change our minds. We will however be (respectfully) stepping up our advertising efforts at the convention. Flyers, PRIZES and more.

Larger clearer photos coming soon!

I’m working on processing over 2000 photos from this past weekend’s Katsucon. New for 2009 the pictures will now be 800×600 in size (formerly 614×461). This allows for better viewing on your screen, as well as more detail in the pictures! I hope you like it. Some of the photos will be up within a few hours with the rest to follow in the coming days. Please please let me know what you think. I would love to hear about what you like and what you don’t like!

Katuscon is a GOGOGO!

Reporting live from Katsucon 2009. We have EXCLUSIVE Aural Vampire pictures ready to go for Monday or Tuesday. I am predicting at least 500+ pictures from this con. It’s gonna be great so keep an eye on the site!

Katsucon is right around the corner!

Katsucon is coming in less than 2 weeks. This is the first con that we have OFFICIALLY been given Press access, and I hope this leads to some great new photo opportunities for both this con and future cons (I’m looking at you Anime Boston and Otakon)
